About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

The fluidity of events

Update: I am at a loss for words.

The thesis stimulus production has definitely been a rollercoaster. What am I even saying, it IS still a rollercoaster. On Wednesday, Mr. Supervisor sent me quite an angry email, where among other things he said that my sentences weren't that great as he had initially thought. [Ok, so they were full of bugs, but what was wrong with them?]. He wouldn't tell me what was wrong with them, but get back to me in a couple of days [A COUPLE OF DAYS?]. So I was dead worried and doubted my entire existence. He eventually sent them back to me and it turned out that I made 1 silly mistake throughout the 180 sentences [PHEW!]. So I fixed it up now and it's all good. I am going to send it out to him again on Sunday night [so he can get back to me on Monday in a week I bet].

Anyhow, this was all very worrying, because 2 of the other people I knew of (doing a similar thing), were finished and ready to collect their data [FREAK OUT!]. Last week he stopped someones data collection and made them review their sentences and I was like "ok not the last one still working on their sentences" but it turns out Mr. Supervisor made ANOTHER person ALSO pull out again and change something that will take a considerable amount of time changing. SO NOW all of a SUDDEN I am NOT the last one still working on their sentences, but actually well ... the furthest ahead? This makes me wonder whether he does this so we are all on the same page and approximately in the same boat, or whether he doesn't even look out for that.

Interesting turn for sure.
