Dear Friends & Family,
Today is the one-year anniversary of the passing of our dear son Lawrance. Thanks to all your blessings and your good wishes, his spirit is free and soaring.
We also want to thank all of you for your support and loving kindness helping us get thru this most difficult time in our life, we are forever grateful.
Lawrance reminded us some time ago: “If we can do something to change someone’s life for the better, wouldn’t it be nice?” It is in this spirit – and in his honor – that we’d like to formally announce the launch of the LHC Foundation for Youth Wellness. The mission of the Foundation is to identify and fund projects & programs that can effect positive change in youth health, wellness and education, on a global scale.
We have identified two initial worthwhile and meaningful projects to pursue:
§ The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) program being implemented to provide the mental health support network and early intervention for the student community there, and
§ A charity platform being launched focused on providing formal education for the underprivileged kids and young adults in the developing world – as education is the bridge and surest way out of poverty (Yen-Lu is serving as a founding director)
Our journey with him continues onward …
Please join us on a prayer wishing him everlasting light and forever peace.
Wishing you Love & Light.
