Disclaimer: I hate being stalked. It freaks me out! Don't stalk me! PS: This is a very unchristmasy story.
I went to the local mall with mom. When we were pretty much at the end of our shopping, we were both exhausted and tired. I had ordered a pizza to go and was just waiting for them to make it. Pizza Hut was all the way in the 4th floor, and since we didn't want to wait there all this while, we went downstairs - ground floor. The company OSIM was happily promoting their various massage devices, which our tired feet couldn't resist. Without much thought, mom and me hit the foot massage device. Some dude was standing next to me and obnoxiously staring, but since that happens every minute of every second of every day over here, I didn't pay much attention. Eventually, he decided to try out the foot massage thing next to me and was now obnoxiously staring from right next to me *sigh/shakeshead*. Try to imagine, your trying to relax and you keep seeing this dude from the corner of your eye on your left, openly staring at your every move. ANYWAY. My footmassage thing stopped and I moved onto the head massage device - odd thing really. Obnoxious starer asked me how I found it and I answered. He then tried it out too and mom wanted to see how he liked it, so we waited for maybe a minute or so, asked him and moved we moved on.
We went upstairs and I saw him follow us a bit and mom and me were joking about how he has our lice now that he tried the head massage thing after us. But hey there's not that much to do in this mall maybe he was just walking into the same direction right? WRONG! When I realized that he was a few steps behind us on the 5th escalator I nudged mom and pointed it out to her, but she just thought I was paranoid. Yes yes. I love you too, Mom. We went into Pizza Hut and waited for them to bring us the pizza and obnoxious starer guy was OUTSIDE Pizza Hut, coincidentally talking on the phone. He was in fact stalking us. 2 seconds later, he came INTO Pizza Hut stood in front of us randomly, looked around (totally not weird) and stuck his hand out, shook our hands and thanked us for making him try the head massage device 5 stories down, went back outside and waited in front of Pizza Hut. Mom and me completly weired out, took the pizza and made our way back down and to the car, stalker guy happily following us. Thankfully, we managed to shake him off in the crowds, which wasn't too easy, considering we don't exactly blend in that well.
This hasn't happened to me in 4 years I think. The last time it happened, the guy followed my friend and me alllll around town, until we managed to put and end to the stalking by hiding in a BOSE surround system sample room *PHEW*.
