About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

Hand-bags

Ha! It's so funny. Last week, I visited Total Turima and while we were sitting in some bus, going somewhere, the bus stopped at some stop and in came people from a different ethnical background. At first, I didn't really pay attention, because I was still involved in a rather interesting conversation with Total Turima so I didn't want to focus on others too much, but since they were talking quite loudly in another language, I increasingly paid attention to those fellas as opposed to my friend (yes yes, I know how rude, right?). Eventually I had figured out that they must be from mainland China and to confirm my guess, I let my eyes explore their clothes, body language and hairstyle, in search for any stereotypical clues. After a good 5 minutes it finally hit me like a hard slap on an icy cold face! MY GUESS WAS CORRECT! YES. The guys were carrying the girls handbags. Back home, Spacy Norely, Lady Jayne and her family and I had a chat over dinner where they told me that guys from mainland China made it a point to always carry the girls' handbags. Before we had that chat over dinner, I really had never paid much attention to guys carrying their girls handbags, because how many guys in Europe carry their girls handbag on a daily basis, except when she runs off to the bathroom? None, exactly. So when they told me about it, I found it funny but didn't actually really truly believe it, until I came across the 2 couples on the bus.

Update on funny dude:
A couple of posts ago, I mentioned some dude who passed me by and threw his arm in the air to prevent a collision, instead of moving his shoulder to the side or choosing an alternative, more humane way. Anyway Total Turima called me the other day and told me how she saw him on the road again and apparently he did this to all people he passed... truly awkward. Tsk. But I guess he achieved what he wanted. I probably would never even have noticed him in the first place, if he just walked by, choosing an "alternative, more humane way" of preventing a collision.

XOXO
