About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

Takes 2 minutes only, Sir!

Hectic, hectic, hectic! Life is being turned upside down once again. But aren't we used to that already? Everything is all over the place. People are completely unorganized. Nothing ever works as promised (and we know ppl are always big on the whole promising side out here). Who are they lying to other than themselves really? No one ever plans and when plans are made by some weirdos, they are usually dismissed rather quickly, because frankly, who on earth can enforce plans in a myriad of "non planers"? ... Precisely my point.

Example of a promise that never happened? I bought a new SIM card and in the shop they promised me that it will work within "1 hour only!". It's been about 9 hours by now and I still can't send out any sms' or receive calls.

Example of something so unexpected? The left light switch operates the light on the right side and vice versa and out of the cold water tap runs hot water and vice versa.
Now one could argue (and I fully agree) that this place wouldn't be India to its fullest if everything was as per plan and expected, but there's only so much I can take all at once. It can be hard to accustom to this place again when one has been spoilt by correctly connected switches and taps and continuous electricity and water supply. How did I manage living in this confusion for 5.5 years again? Right! The South IS so much better! Or maybe I just kept telling myself that everything will take "only 2 minutes" and the 2 minutes eventually turned into 5.5 years ????? I have no idea. I enjoyed every second of it anyway. Not so sure about this area though. It's all a bit too funky for me.

I suppose that India teaches you not to expect. It creates a blank slate at every waking and teaches you to embrace ever moment, because nothing is ever the same.

Much like this little fella in the following video, who discovers himself and his surroundings.
