Caution! Long Blog! *hihi*
The final volume of my summer holiday compilation. I keep reading my friends blogs and I often get to read quite depressing stories, which is fine ... but then again HEY PPL IT'S SUMMER ... BE HAPPY! If your not happy now then when are you gonna be happy? In winter when it's cold? ... Exam time .. with all this stress ??... Soo let me tell you happy things ... things that you never knew, never wanted to hear and probably don't feel like you have gained any knowledge after having read my post, but at least it's light reading :). Once uni starts again, my posts will probably become heavier and more depressing again. But til then eeeeeesmiiiilleee and alohaaa!
So yesss my final days were fun filled like the rest uuhhh *surprise* .. besides the fact that all radio stations across the country seemed to have had a secret alliance going on and playing only P!NK songs (yes ... I didn't mind them all this while, but now I run whenever there's a P!NK song).
Since pink seems to be the happening theme of this paragraph, let me tell you about this fella! I had a funny hot pink bunny running around, selling little alcohol bottles, trying to finance his wedding with his not very apparent male fiance. And nope before anyone says "Euuww, this chick is pointing her finger at him and calling the bunny gaaayyy", I'm in fact not falsly calling anyone a homosexual, but this was right after the Gay Parade (apparently it was the second largest "of its kind" right after Christopher Street Day ... never knew that) so yes anndd every guy in the bachelor clan of his was wearing a pink ribbon around their hips ... so yes all evidence hints at a correct statement of mine. He was quite adorable though, I loveeed his outfit and other people did apparently too, because he sold his little schnaps bottles quite quickly... here see for yourself.

Except that crazy pink bunny who ran around, there was also a crazy couple running around at night on the Autobahn .... Why is this shocking ??? BECAUSEE ...
- The road is completely dark .
- People drive upto speeds ranging from 180 to 240 km/h
- It's an offense
- They will risk their lives and the lives of others!
So yes I was driving at night and we heard the announcement that 2 people were running around on the Autobahn over the radio and unfortunately, it was right around where I was driving. I was quite freaked out, because if something happens to them because of me, I'm the one screwed. So eventually we saw the police car way ahead of us and I still didn't want to believe that there were people on the road for real. However, it was much to my relief that the police car was in front of us, pretty much leading the way and telling us where those 2 were wondering about. So I obviously slowed down once we were closer to the now parked police car and I couldn't believe my eyes when we finally passed those to reckless people by. *shock* ... yes quite shocking .. so ridiculous.

Once we had caught our flight back home, reached all safely at around 3 am in the morning, we were somewhat ready to go to sleep, but wanted to hang out on the sofa for a bit n chat before we finally slept. I dragged my suitcase upstairs and happily pulled it into my room, not looking anywhere in particular, when I realized that the bedroom was literally flooded. I yelled, mom came ... mom checked her bedroom, she yelled, dad came, dad yelled ... well no one came, instead, ...
...change of plans: No happily sitting around having a chat before sleeping, no no. Getting rid of the water was now of highest priority at 3 frigging AM in the morning. Why can things never just be and go the way they are meant to? This time we had electricity and water (but apparently too much), last time we came back from our vacation, we didn't have water and we didn't have electricity either. SERIOUSLY *argh*. Soooo theeennn we cleared the hall and all bedrooms and finished at around quarter to 6, definitely ready for bed. *yawn*
I suppose that didn't put a very harmonious end to our awesome vacation, but oh well.
Anywayyy, I took this video in one of my favourite spots on this planet. Little duck-babies learning how to swim, ...

... which I suppose leads me back to my glorious motto, "it's all about determination...". Those little ducks are determined, because it means their survival to be able to swim. Somehow only humans use the phrase "argh, I can't do it". Quoting this friend of mine, "what do you mean can't? Can't equates to not trying hard enough! So don't tell me you can't!" (Juno, 2009). I think you are absolutely right Juno, those little duck-babies dont even question their ability, they just do it. So why are we?
On this note, I shall disappear until hopefully monday. Have a great second semester everyone and all the best. Remember, the difference between the possible and the impossible is determination! SO GO FOR IT!

"They [miracles] dont always happen when you ask
And its easy to give in to your fears
But when youre blinded by your pain
Cant see the way, get through the rain
A small but still, resilient voice
Says hope is very near, oh
There can be miracles
When you believe"
