Ha ... so much has happened since my last post. Ok I suppose not a lot has actually happened, but life has been very interesting and I'm seeing a lot of stuff these days.
Since I'm traveling at the moment (as I had noted a couple of posts ago), I have been very infrequent with my posts and nowww so much of info has accumulated, I'm not even sure how to group it all together. So I guess I'm just gonna go ahead and do it in chronological order.
After a long while my eagle landed. I picked up my luggage and did some serious moving around. After I reached and settled at this trainstation, waiting for my train, I took a good look around and saw this dude ... Manners much??? He was frigging lying on the floor, head rested on his luggage (which is totally cool), chatting to this other dude digging his nose and THEN eating his buggers !!!! *EUW* How disgusting is that right? Yeah, I thought so too. Wow, great start to my holiday. Anyhow, I reached my destination smoothly in absence of any further ... rather disgusting distractions.
... 5 (peaceful) days later ...
I had heaps of fun doing what I did over in "ma hood" :P (Yes ok. I shall not try to be too cool), until we met this friend of ours who told me a rather shocking story (it was shocking to me at least). We all met and went to this cafe. On the way to the cafe, we passed by my old piercing studio, where I had my belly pierced YEARS ago, the only difference was that the studio was no longer there. Hmm, weird. So I asked my friend n she told me that apparently the piercer (same guy who pierced my wonderful and unique bellybutton *coughcough*) was behind bars. Yup! Druggy who had his studio right there, just to finance his drug usage. *WAH**staresatherbellyinawe*. Maybe others would not find news like these very shocking, but I did, just because I may have some of the inbuilt of how things are meant to be and this, according to me is a big NO NO, which leads me to my next anecdote.
I was walking around in this rather .. small town, which had proper traffic lights and crossroads nonetheless. Little cars, not much traffic at all. One might wonder why there were traffic lights installed in the first place, but whatever. Me being the person that I am, I waited sweetly at the red traffic light for a long while, until naturally I had enough of waiting. In the meantime, this whole group of people (adults and children) had collected next to me, waiting to cross as well. Eventually, I decided that anything else but crossing the road right in this second was a waste of time and started to cross. When I was about halfway across the road, his old couple started swearing at me and yelling at me from behind something along the lines of "how dare I cross the road while the traffic lights are still red" and "how inappropriate it was of me to do so in front of little kids, when they are meant to be taught rules, regulations and order *sigh*".
Although those 2 old people annoyed me a little, they very clearly reminded me of what country I was in and that I also have these inbuilt rules and regulations, which I'm actually very proud of ... in a weird sort of funky way *patriotism*. People are just so orderly and have such clear and structured ideas ... most of the time at least, which I find very very refreshing.
