About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

Knitting & Crocheting!

I love holidays. I always get to do the most random things. The hip thing to do this holiday? Knitting!!! I remember when I was in my late single digits (7-9 yrs old)/ early double digits (11ish) I wanted to learn how to knit, but I somehow couldn't manage for the thread to stay on the needles and I kept complaining about the hookless needles. I mean, why couldnt knitting needles just have hooks, right?

Yeaaahh! So that's when Mom introduced me to crocheting and crocheting-me had been born. I LOVED crocheting. It was super duper cool! I enjoyed the fact that the ONE needle (instead of two) that I had to use had a hook and things didn't just slide off my needles. It was my favourite thing to do.

Over the years I crocheted this and that until this holiday, when I decided to take up the whole knitting thing again. *sigh* Things still slide off my needles, but a lot less often. I started last week and I can see something that resembles a pattern already ... *excited* in only 1 week! I'm gonna continue knitting! I will NOT give up this time. Except right now I decided I needed oven cloths, sooooo I shall produce some. I am going to buy awesome wool tomorrow and start crocheting right away. I haven't decided on the color scheme though. *sigh*. That's going to be the hardest thing to do. We have a lot of reds, beiges, oranges and blues in our kitchen ... Maybe something along those lines? Let me consult my feng shui knowledge and see what colors are good.

P.S.: Updates on color selection will follow soon.

P.P.S.: I just did some research on colors and what not. This is the design I used to go with

Alternating between several colors *yawn*. I need a challenge! How about something like this instead!

or even something like this

That's all pretty cool. I shall decide tomorrow. Until then, I shall sleepy sleep! Night niiiight!
