It turns out that I made a mistake while knitting my current project, which is incredibly annoying. I made the same mistake 35 times (no kidding) and now I would end up with a much (!) slimmer back piece than the 2 front pieces. So I have to open up both front pieces about half way. That's about 140 rows *pain* / 20 cms.
Simultaneously I have started crocheting potholders and I HATE crocheting striped potholders. I think I have made about 10 sets in my crocheting career and here's my 11th pair. I didn't want to think of a pattern beforehand and so I let myself get inspired as I went along. Now it turns out that if I completed the pattern as symmetrically as I'd lik
e it to be, I'd make a MASSIVE potholder. *sigh*. So I stopped making this one half way through now and I guess it looks ok, but nothing ever goes as per plan. In my head I have it looking a certain way and it doesn't translate into the actual thing and that's just annoying. *sigh*. I'll put up another picture when I'm actually done with my potholders.
