About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

Space

I cannot believe how much stuff collects on my lappitoppi. I have 142GB of space ... all filled up. To the brim. With what you may ask? I have NOO idea. I hate outsourcing. I am always worried that my external harddrive crashed and then everything is gone! I have outsourced my pictures now. *phew* 22GB of available space again.

Speaking of space, this Mr.Bubble-less period (oh that's right, he's gone on a roadtrip with his workmates until Thursday) is not as bad as I thought it would be. I mean I do have a lot do to, so it keeps me busy during the day. At night the house is cold and I hate eating by myself, so that sucks. But then there are romantic comedies and heaters, right? And I now have and ENTIRE queen size bed to myself. Plus, I keep getting asked around to do stuff with this girl recently (the one I went op-shopping with yesterday), which also keeps me busy.

It's a shame really, because she is leaving to go back to Malaysia at the end of the month and we and even James has known her for at least 2 years and it is only now that we meet up and get to know each other? So bizarre. She's so sweet, plus she is EXACTLY like me. I always thought I was weird when it came to shopping habits, i.e.: when I'm not sure what color to buy, I imagine myself in a situation where I would use the item in one color or the other and she does that too!! or we both want kids just so we can buy cute stuff for them. I have never come across anyone who does/thinks like that! Haha. So yea. We are getting together tomorrow again with a couple of other people to watch Bridesmaids [hopefully it'll be good] and on Friday to continue our little shopping spree *excited*. I really wish she wasn't leaving. *sigh* Oh well, such is life.

Movie to be watched tonight:

This German one ZWEIOHRKUEKEN (which translates to the chicken with 2 ears. It's a Rom-Com and sequeal to KEINOHRHASEN = the rabbit without ears)

Update: I totally wasted valuable time from 3:30-6  ... SLEEPING! Argh. Anyway, I have broken my research into sections and so right now I am focusing on the question of what area of the brain is responsible for language comprehension. A lot of the research I find is about the comprehension of metaphors only, which sucks because I don't just want to talk about metaphor comprehension. It's not even 100% related to my study. So yea. That's raped my brain for most of the day. I hope I'll be a bit more successful tomorrow. I also finished writing up my stimulus sentences and sent them to my supervisor. They are no longer under my control for now *grr*.

Ok, pizza-on-pita-bread-making-time *yummy*
