About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

Non-giving sugar daddy.

The other day Mr. Bubbles and I went for lunch somewhere. Although the wind can be quite cool, it was a pleasant day and so we sat down outside on chairs provided by the restaurant. We weren't the only ones. Next to us there was a sugar daddy with his thai wife and on our left, a young couple, maybe our age. No big deal, routine procedure. Waitress comes, we order, she leaves again, we wait for our food to arrive.

Randomly, a homeless person appeared behind me from out of nowher and asked us for some change. I am quite non-giving like that. I am more than happy to buy canned food and leave that outside our building, for the homeless to take, but I am not a big fan of giving away change like that. Anyhow, Mr. Bubbles was in a giving mood and gave the guy whatever change he had in his pocket, not caring whether guy was gonna spend it on booze or food. I gave Mr. Bubbles a look, since I wasn't happy about that transaction and so explained why he did and I was fine. While we kept on talking, I heard the neighbor (the sugar daddy one) get REALLY angry about Mr. Bubbles giving the person money and asked us for change as well. Mr. Bubbles didn't hear and I pretended not to have heard. He was being such a dick and entirely inappropriate. I mean I may not agree, but he was sitting there on his fat ass eating an $8 slice of cake and he has a problem with giving someone who can't afford that a couple of cents?

DOUCHEBAG!

PS.: Despite the chance that this might bore people, I will post daily updates on how I am progressing with my thesis, just to overtly remind myself that it is thesis writing that I should be doing over the holidays and not knitting. I will make a list of all the things that need to be done and cross things off, once they have been completed. I shall make this list green, since green is the color of hope and luck.

Thesis list:
  • Participant information:
    • Instructions
    • Information sheet
    • Debriefing sheet [do I even need one or not? MUST FIGURE OUT]
  • Stimuli generated: [hopefully 26/06 *grr*]
    • 90/180 successfully completed [Mr. Bubbles and supervisor: Work fasterrr, laah!]
  • Data collected: [given up to come up with a date, things keep changing ... August?]
    • none [*sigh* ARGHH!!! *sweat on forehead*]
  • Abstract  [Last?]

  • Introduction: [done by 01/08]
    • Outline [yup, once my method and research are done]
    • Research [heart palpatations!]
    • Subsections [no frigging idea!]

  • Method: [done by 22/06]
    • Outline
    • Participants /
    • Design [Apparently, it's a 2x3x3 repeated measures ANOVA. Now how on EARTH do you calculate THAT?]
    • Stimulus Materials
    • Counterbalancing
    • Apparatus
    • Procedure[considering I haven't done any data collection, I have no idea what's gonna happen. This section will rape my ass!]
  • Analyses: [done by 01/08]
    • Outline
    • Calculations
    • Tables
  • Results:
    • Reaction time analysis
    • Error rate analysis [I don't even know. I just made that up, but I will have a better idea once I ACTUALLY collected data!]
  • Discussion: [does this one have subsections like the rest? Probably.]
