Such a bummer ... I tried studying today, but somehow my brain refused ... I must have overstudied. So I decided to take my day off and pampered myself instead, which was quite nice and can be very fulfilling every now and then. At least I can now enjoy the softness of my feet and feel all flash with my smooth legs *teehee*. Sadly, it's too cold to show 'em off.
Anyhow, I started watching Heroes Season 3 today and it doesn't seem very interesting, til now at least. I just completed Episode 2 and it's all very hectic ... let's see if it gets any better. Instead of studying or getting bored, I decided to unleash the cook in me. :P I made this awesome mexican lunch today and some great dinner and because I still wasn't satisfied, I went ahead and made Crêpes. Last month I tried this American pancake receipe and it was horrible the pancakes turned out very American and very thick *gulp* (no racist connotation, I just don't like the thick pancakes). This time I did some research and found this lovely receipe on www.allreceipes.com they turned out super light and super nice:
Ingredients:
- 125 g all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 120 ml milk
- 120 ml water
- 2 g salt
- 30 g butter, melted
Just add it all together as you normally would for pancakes. Voilà!
I have to say though it was quite disgusting. I had to throw out my half kilo of flour it was infested with moths again. I'm at loss for words. We had a serious maggot infestation last month and so we cleared out EVERYTHING, the entire cupboard, store everything in plastic boxes and even leave all doors closed so no flies or moths can enter and YET we continue to find moths in that cupboard of ours. Just last week I threw out my breakfast bars *sniff* because moths had decided to breed in the breakfast bar box. It's extreeemmlyyyy disgusting, especially cuz I'm super scared of flying insects. So I checked with Ellie, if I could use some of her flour and I pour some of it in a bowl and what do I see ? Tiny black bugs crawling in the flour *argh*. Finally, thanks to super smart and super nice Jeanne, who keeps her flour in the freezer and let me borrow some of hers, I was able to make my pancakes. Thanks Jeanne.

Have I ever mentioned that I think Mick Hucknall is just SUCH a great singer and artist?
