I have been putting off next semester's unit selection for quite a while now, for no particular reason. Today, I was reminded and so I could no longer live in denial and decided to check out possible units for next sem and found this example timetable where the units I wanted to take next sem were all listed nicely. I double checked with the handbook and none of the units were offered in sem 2 (when the timetable said they would). So it turned out that all my year 2 electives were offered in sem 1 only except year 3 units - the thought of doing a year 3 unit in year 2 kind of scared me, eventhough there's nothing to worry. GREAT! *argh* So I emailed the unit co-ordinator and it seems like he fixed it and now my units are all available in sem 2 *yay* :P Thank you :)
Uni stuff aside, people do random things in so very random situations :S ... I was sitting in the car with this friend and we decided to be super random and stick gum on the dashboard in random shapes and then interpret the shapes hahahaha ... yes I know disgusting right ? So here is one of the awesome pieces of art:

We decided it looked like a little man standing in a convertible VW beetle :P or a huge big mouthed fish. But somehow it doesn't look like either now *hmpf*.
Not that we were generally bored, but eventually our discussion went onto the word annunciate. (At the time I thought annunciate = enunciate for some percuilar reason) so I bet that it was spelt "e-n-u-n-c-i-a-t-e", but pronounced "e-noun-ce-ate" and my friend bet that it wasn't pronounced "e-noun-ce-ate". So I came back home and did my awesome research with my wicked skills annnddd I was enlightened that annunciate is not the same as enunciate and both words are pronounced "e-nunn-ce-ate". Now I'm not sure anymore about the terms and conditions of this bet, because I wasn't fully aware of the meaning of "annunciate" *muhaha* :P
Yup, but besides random car discussions, we did go to this awesome German play "Ein Abend für Leute mit Haltungsschäden" (An evening for people with bad posture). It was in German, with English subtitles and the play was TRULY hilarious. It neatly summarized the usual office politics going on. Oh, I never knew that "authentic" meant "genuine" by the way. I always thought authentic referred to something with a cultural connotation, probably because of frequent advertisements like "authentic spanish cuisine". Gosh! It sounds funny when I replace "authentic" with "genuine". Anyway. It was all in all a very cultural and eye-opening evening for me. I can now add 3 new words to my vocabulary *wootwoot*.
