About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

C'est en Septembre au Centre des Vols

Here we go, funny things start to happen in my life again. Ohhhh that's right, now that I have shifted houses, I have to start a new list of "awesome suburb-y things". Although I am sure that funny things occur in this suburb too, my old suburb was still the bomb!

The List:
  1. Random Karaoke session at a Flight Center
That was quite random yes. My new flatmates and I were meant to have another one of our many "family dinners", but then somehow everyone was too lazy to cook, so we ended up buying pizza from somewhere. The delivery was $15 and evidently too high for us poor students, so I volunteered to drive up to the shop to pick up the pizza. Just as we had reached the shopping complex, where we supposedly would find the desired pizza place, we passed one of the many Flight Centers, where 4 people were standing around the office, very inspicuously. A lady with a microphone, a guy with a guitar and a third guy with a accordion, but really nothing else. So we passed by and carelessly giggled at this rather unexpected constellation. Once we had picked up our pizza and were approaching Flight Center one more time, we heard weird sounds coming from the Flight Center area. Nothing bad in mind, we passed by Flight Center realized that the lady with the mic was now singing french chansons, while the other 2 guys were happily tuning in.

In the meantime, life seems just that much brighter again (.. or whatever, considering the circumstance), I overheard people talking about this available position at an old age care home, that I applied for immediately. Guess what, they actually wanted to see me *exciting*. I know. So yes, my interview is tomorrow and I cannot wait. Although, I am not so certain anymore about what first impression she had of me over the phone, because when I called my potential boss today and she told me the time that I could come in for the interview tomorrow, I blankly thanked her and ended the conversation with a very much non-excusable "cool, see you then". I hung up and knocked my head against the wall, (no I actually didn't ...) because i mean what on EARTH, "C O O L"? How damn professional is that of me, really?
