About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

I knowwwwwww ... it is lammeeee, but I just had to post it. I found it in my friend's Blog. The first thing I did after I finished work was check my friend's Blogs (yes, I actually do that), just to see what's up and how they are keeping up with things and I found this "prank call". I find it hilarious and besides it put a smile on my face after an incredibly brain-frying day, which makes me want to jump to my next topic "WORK".

How exciting. I had my first shift today. I am very aware that is going to be very tiring to juggle uni and work, especially because I only have a 15 and 30 mins break for a 5 and 7 hrs shift respectively. But, I have signed up for it and now I will pull through. I had my part 1 training session today and I must say I N F O R M A T I O N O V E R L O A D ! ! ! That was probably partially my fault too, because I just asked soo many questions. I just could not NOT ask questions. My mentor chuckled at me in the end, just because I had exhausted my question capacity at some point *teehee*. Now I am not sure if that makes a good impression or not, but I suppose I just HAVE to know all these things otherwise I am worried I might just do something wrong (which is bound to happen anyway) and possibly even drop *shriek* someone. Some of the older men there are quite charming (or so they think). Apparently showering can become a problem for those *winkwink* and our mentor reckons we should just let them wash their >>> AREAS <<< by themselves. Let's see how that's going to work out. What's quite interesting is that they put me in the high care area, which means I will be taking care of those with proper dementia and the mental problems *YES! STRIKE*. That's gonna be SO SUPER interesting for me; however, it also means that I will have to take more care of them and do all the rather "interesting" work. Anyhow, tomorrow will be training session part 2. Starting at 7am *yawn*. Can't wait to actually start the hands on work.
