About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

Some people just make UBER BAD movies

*sigh* after an entire day at home (yes I believe I only got out of bed at around 5 ... besides I have nothing to wake up for on the weekends so I just hog the bed some more ..) I was quite pleased to receive a SMS from my flatmate McDan, asking me if we all wanted to meet some other people and go for a movie. Little did I know again what kind of movie I was getting myself into and happily agreed to coming (to, as I later found out District 9). The movie was terrible. It was about some aliens who were stuck in their spaceship literally above Johannesburg. Very distructable creatures, lots of gory scenes and really no story line at all. Maybe pulled some heartstrings towards the end to make up for the lack of quality throughout the rest of the movie.
Verdict: $15 WASTED!

However, since I'm already on about movies, I went to watch Up with a whole bunch of my flatmates the other day and it was SUCH A CUTE movie. I loved the little characters .. very cute cars and little houses AND it was in 3D, which probably was just the most UBER SUPER COOLEST thing ever, because it just made the little houses, cars and people seem even smaller, (... which added to the cuteness of those things ...) compared to other things in the movie! We got our little 3D glasses and sat there, staring at the screen, which was pretty funny, because I did turn around and just for a split second there enjoyed the homogeneity among people that these glasses created. About 100 people behind me (not sure how many people this theater can hold) were staring at the screen with their little 3D glasses on.
Verdict: $17 NOT WASTED & WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN!

Now I just feel so depressed after District 9 that I need something girly. I really wanted to watch Titanic (*yes yes I know*) but it is already 12:30 am, so maybe not. I decided to watch Made of Honor instead. Although I have seen this movie at least a dozen times, it is still one of my personal favourites. The only thing that is missing right now is OBVIOUSLY the 3kg bucket of chocolate ice cream and along with that, a big potion of TDH! But until I get my huge potion of TDH, which I quite frankly deserve *selfish* I shall listen to the [Tune] and sigh the night away.

EDIT: I managed to substitute the 3kg chocolate ice cream bucket with nutella :D *yay*
