Wow Mr. Bubbles and I had our anniversary yesterday and it was super cute. So quick and one year is over. The night before I didn't even want to go to sleep, just because if I did go to sleep I wouldn't be able to spend any time with him and look at him right?
He gave me this new Chanel perfume .. AH! SO INCREDIBLY GOOD! Yummy! It's called "Crystalle - Eau Verte". We all know a scent is composed of 3 notes, yes? The head note, the heart note and the base note. The head note is what you can smell immediately when you spray the perfume on and it disappears quickest. Then you have the heart notes that pop up just before the head note disappears entirely in an attempt to cover up the initially unpleasant base note. Finally, the base note is what lingers and what is perceived about 30 minutes after the perfume application. The heart and base note is what makes up the perfume mostly.
So this perfume smells gorgeous initially, then goes through this weirrrrdd phase of smelling as if I smoked and then tried to cover it up with perfume and the final thing - which is what lingers and is thus most important to me is so beautiful and smells just incredible! Not too sweet, a hint of masculinity (not that I wear men's perfume), powdery and yet totally floral *YUM*.
Due to the nature of my gift for Mr. Bubbles, I had to buy flowers ... red roses. How unconventional. The girl buying flowers for the guy, but that's alright, whatever is left of them post-gift creation, is beautiful.
At night, we went to this amazing restaurant and had a 7 course meal.
It was heaven. The maincourse was unbelievable - if you know me well enough I am incredibly particular with my food, but this was just crazy good! The food just melted in my mouth and the wine was even better *sigh*. They have the option of getting the wine course meal, where for every meal they serve a glas of the matching wine, which we didn't choose, because we had already picked the other wine there before hand, but it was TOO AWESOME!
