About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

None other than a heavy sigh among much annoyance!

Gross! I was driving to pick up Mr. Bubbles from his friends place this morning, popped in this Pat Metheny track, which I excitedly re-discovered on my Ipod yesterday ...

... and grooved up to this random traffic light. T'was red, so (naturally) I stopped and just because I was bored and annoyed at the double demerits rule (annoying, because people are EXTRA paranoid and totally do not drive anywhere CLOSE to the speed limit in fear of getting fined for speeding + double demerits), I stared around and looked to see who was waiting next to me.

ARGH! It turned out to be some sleezy dude in his yellow ferrari who had (apparently and very obviously) spotted me before I spotted him and was jigglin' in his seat, when I caught his gaze. He winked at me in the most random way ever and did an extra sleezy head action on top of that, as if to say "hey baebae! ......... (please insert sexual pick up line of your choice)....!".

I thought to myself "WAH! UNEXPECTED *headbouncesbackintostraight-aheadposition*". Back OFF dude! SUPER SLEEZY! Besides, in case I haven't stressed this fact enough, I L-O-V-E BMW's so your measly Ferrari does NOT faze me at all, tyvm! Now turn back and focus on people who would fall for your "wink". AND, since you are not allowed to driver faster than 60 km/h, your Ferrari will not carry you any faster than my sweet potato of a car anyway.

Argh. But besides, I can never bitch about driving over here enough, seriously. I shall elaborate on the theory (not my own) that traffic mirrors the social interactions and how an individual interacts with society of a particular culture, in another post. Over here, from what I gather, people strongly believe in individuality, which definitely reflects in their driving style. i.e.: "I AM DRIVING HERE. I haven't looked out of the window to see if there are other cars around me, because as long as I'm driving the way I'm driving, allllllllllzzz goooooooddd!!!!" Alternatively, unless it's about giving way, once they are on the road, dear ... please help me, because that driving style can also be referred to as inconsiderate and NOT paying attention to the road AT ALL!

P.S.: I watched Robin Hood (not Hobin Rood - just because I mixed up letters ealier) and it was quite a good move. It was long, but enjoyed every second of it. Thus, definitely watch-worthy! Cate Blanchett and Russell Crowe played their parts just beautifully, but what else is to expect of the 2, right?
