About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

Day 14: Shopping Revival

SHOPPING DEPRIVED !!! I AM SHOPPING DEPRIVED !!! VERY SHOPPING DEPRIVED !!! I NEED SHOPS !!! NOW !!! SHOPS ASAP !!!

Before I get to shop, we had planned on squeezing in some sightseeing and check out the Mapparium, which is the Center of Christian Science that set up this glass globe with a bridge leading across the center of this globe. I thought that would be kinda cool to look at.

Unfortunately, the whole place seemed dead! Although we had 40 minutes to go until the last viewing, the whole place was deserted. OH WELL! Shopping all the faster.

Since I was actually still looking out to buy boots, I dragged TDH to this "Prudential Mall". Quite nice I must say. Often these malls will be big, but full of crap or super expensive shops, where finding a plain black T-shirt seems to be a mission impossible.

I searched and hit this shoe store that I have been meaning to go to for the longest time, but everytime I want to go they are either closed or so packed that one can't even enter. I managed to find this store and after the first 5 minutes of being convinced that I will only find crap and not the boots that I want, TDH actually finds very very nice boots. The shop dude didn't think he would have them in my size. BUT HE DID!

Soooo ... I tried them and they were quite high and I wanted black or dark boots and not light brown boots. The other shop chick thought they looked good (of course she only wanted to sell them to me, so I tried to stay as unaffected by her comment as possible) and TDH thought they looked hot as well and 500 thoughts later, I wanted to buy them and I DID. I must be nuts. Brown HIGH HIGH heeled boots (apparently, also referred to as "F*** me boots" in the male world). Aiyoo. America must be getting to me.
