Day 4: One year down *pessimistic* vs. Fresh start *optimistic*

31.12.2009.

*sigh* The last day of 2009. The weather is bad and the wind is icy cold. Time Square? Hmm, get there at 5 in the afternoon, stand in a segregated area until midnight, among 2 mio. people in the rain? No! Not an option. I am aware that this way I don't see the spectacular Times Square ball dropping tradition, but that's ok. I am not planning on catching a cold. It seems like we all agreed.

We want to sit, eat, drink, be able to have a conversation, maybe some good music, but most importantly, have a good time. There are a few options, but the one satisfying our expectations, is getting a table in one of the numerous restaurants, that offer an open bar and a 3 or 4 course meal.

Place chosen, people all ready, headed into restaurant direction ... Happy New Year 2010!!!
