About Me

My photo
I am in my 20's and a passionate student, majoring in Psychology. I was born and brought up in Germany, moved around about 4923 times and recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Mr. Bubbles (no that is not his actual petname), who affectionately shares the space in my green Bubble.

I am a raging, almost melodramatic observant, who picks up on body language and gestures like no other. I love to spending my days out and about and observe anything that comes my way, just so I can report it to whoever is around me.

Day 3: Shopping in SoHo

Long story short, as I said, the group decided to hit Brooklyn without a guide or any idea of where to go, and that's what they did. Hit Brooklyn without a guide or anything of the sort. Oh well, as long as they are having fun, right? I personally thought it would be more efficient to hit the shops and see what the area South of Houston (SoHo) had to offer. It's insane.

I was desperate for toiletries, so I hit a pharmacy that is as big as Kmart ?! Went crazy in make up stores and finally found myself a New York guide. *sigh* I feel relieved. I doesn't matter anymore whether I am with people or not I can find my way around. Conveniently, this guide tells me the closest bars, restaurants and shops, so I won't even starve *teehee*. I guess this guide is the generation prior to the Iphone, since that one tells you everything you need to know in a heartbeat, but until an Iphone will adorn my hands, I shall be satisfied by the little "N.F.T" guide (Not For Tourists guide).

P.S.: No, this is not a hint that I want an Iphone, I am merely making the connection between Iphone and guide, because everytime you ask people here for directions they pull out their Iphone type for 2 minutes and tell you/show you where you need to go.
